Bear Hunting We offer three types of Bear Hunts. First is our bear hunt over bait. It starts the last Monday of August and runs through the 4th Saturday of September. We run 100 active baits and put loads of bear on the game pole. We run 75% kill and 110% sighting in 1999. Second is our bear hunt with hounds. We have some of the best running hounds in the state and they will hunt with you very hard to get your bear. We put bears in the tree! Third is our bear hunt over natural bait. We have grain and corn fields with bears pounding them down. We set up stands for your best shot. This hunt runs mid-September until the end of October. We guarantee to hunt you hard.
