This video was taken from a trail camera one night last year during moose season. I don’t believe this big bull was ever taken in 2012 so could be even bigger for the 2013 season. He is eating leaves and branches off a small maple tree along side a fantastic game trail we discovered deep in the north Maine woods but yet very accessible. Don’t forget to get your application in for the 2013 moose season. Apply on line at www.maine.gov/ifw/. Good luck with the drawing in June and don’t forget #9 is located in WMD Zone 6 where we guide Zone 3, 5 and 6.
Check out The American Hunter magazine, June 2012 issue. This is an NRA magazine. Max Prasac, hand gun expert, shot his moose with #9 and has some very honest comments about our guiding, lodging, meals and overall atmosphere.
William Clunie, writer for The Maine Sportsman, has stayed with us and has written on our Face Book page.
2012
100%! We had 8 moose hunters who had opportunity
All of our guided moose hunters had the opportunity to take home the monster moose they were looking for. Our 2 biggest taken in 2012 was 54 inch spread weighing 883 pounds and 49 1/2 inch spread weighing 870.
2011
80 % ! We had 5 moose hunters and filled 4 tags.
Relax and enjoy your hunt of a life time; Let us do all the planning before your hunt, guide you through the hunt and take care of all details after you have shot your moose. Our price includes (for 2 people) 7 nights lodging, 3 meals a day, all transportation during your hunt, guide service and the retrieval of your moose. We have butchers lined up, skidders available if needed and all the tools and experience needed to make your hunt unforgettable. We live year round in Bridgewater, we know the lay of the land, all the intertwined log roads and do all the pre hunt scouting.
Many 50” to 60” bulls with weights pushing 1,000 pounds are very common in Zone 6, 5 and 3. There will be three weeks of hunting this year and we are prepared to guide all weeks. We have had our trail cameras out since the first of May to get a feel for the moose concentration and track their activity right up to your hunt. We will be prepared!
If you prefer to do your own hunt, that is ok. We have cabins for you to rent with or without meal plans to meet your needs. You can also come up and stay with us while you do your own scouting. We can help you with directions etc.
Check out our Facebook page. We tend to post new pictures daily.
