2012

We start the year with some fantastic snowmobiling.  The first of February we had a total of about 2 feet of snow.  It had settled a lot and trails were getting thin.  But last night (Feb 25) we recieved about 14 inches of great snow.  Not too late to book your winter get away with #9.  Several cabins to choose from and we offer meal plans to meet your needs.  Let us take you off trail and possibly see a few moose like we did last week with our cabin guests.

BEAR Season - We are booked the first and third week with deposits.  We have deposits from 2 hunters for the second week.  It's not too early to book your Bear-Over-Bait hunt this September.

2011

We had a great year for bear - 9 bear hunters over 3 weeks saw 32 bear!  5 were taken home and others missed or wanted something bigger or --- whatever.

MOOSE

We had 5 moose hunters in 2011 and 4 filled their tag.  2012 applications for moose permits are out.  Apply on line and the zone of choice is zone 6

DEER

Last year we had 12 deer hunters with us and collectively we saw 12 buck.  The only one that was taken was 217 pounds dressed.  It was taken the last day of muzzelloader.  It would have weighed close to 245 the first week of rifle season.  We didn't have this one on our trail cameras but we did have similar ones.  2 nice buck on cameras after all deer hunting was over!
